Description Well, again, restoration of genus Amphicyon, this time, study of the head of A.major.
Note: I'm changing my technique for making fur, this time I drawed the hair, instead of diffuse it. Hope the change works ok.

Beautiful head study, I really like what a nice blend of dog-like and bear-like you have going on there

Madre mΓa. Odio dibujar mamΓferos por el pelo, pero esta nueva tΓ©cnica te queda asombrosamente realista. Que envidia!!

Beautiful work and amazingly life-like.

After viewing the Amphicyon Major pieces in your gallery, I became curious about the species and did a Google search to learn more. I thought you might be interested in knowing that, on Google.com, this deviation of yours is ranked #3 in the search results.

Yes, it comes from a graphite sketch, but the hair is painted in Photoshop with "highlight" tool over the pencil traces.
