Actually, before 463 was converted to the compound Walschaerts valve gear, she wore this, and maybe even a slope-back tender, like some of the other mudhens.

You call the railroad and you follow the number line and eventually, you'll get to the scheduler and go from there. As a note, it is VERY expensive to run a photo charter.

Cost - I can only imagine. I assume that there are groups of photographers, fans that pool the money for a run.

There used to be an annual photo charter made up by Chama Steam Tours. But, the price to "borrow" the C&TS locomotives and equipment just bankrupted the company. So, as a note, I suggest you get at least 200 people and make some of the runbys in places where freeloaders can't easily get to. That was another problem for CST was that freeloaders would follow the train up the 4% grade to Cumbres, which is paralleled by the highway.
