Description Similar 3 colourpencil technique as seen in the "My Corner" image. However, I did cheat a little and use typical gray/black graphite for the outlines!!

Its called "Hat Thief" because of a conversation some of my classmates had about the image. They said since she already had a bow in her hair, she wouldn't be wearing a hat... so she must have stolen it!! See, I'm not a girl, so I don't know these things!

The scan kinda wrecks it... and it makes the texture too strong. I also tried to make the shadows of leaves on her... and it didn't read well so she just looks kinda blotchy. Yarg...

Oh noes, she's not a thief, though she does look like a cunning kid. She can perfectly wrap the bow around her wrist and put on the hat... That's what I do

By the way, I know how scanner screws up pencil drawings. But you know what? IT'S FREAKING CUTE!

Thank you! I like the texture too, its just... in the scan it comes out a bit odd. I will definitely do more pics like this though And you should do some too!! I'd love to see some traditional work by you

And itΒ΄s okay to wear a bow in the hair AND a hat, as long as the bow survives it and the hat doesnΒ΄t destroy the hairdo.
