At AX. It was boiling hot outside so I didn't bring my Orangutan. XDI got a new wig, remade the tights, got different boots, and made new boot ruffles. I should have also remade the hat, but I didn't. Next time! And next time I'll also have the lace on the tights, derp.

I did make them! Shorts are fairly easy to make. I used this pattern: [link]
Assuming you can sew, I'd wait until Simplicity patterns go on sale for 1.99 or 99 cents at Joann. You should be able to find orange denim or twill there too. I'd use a coupon if it's not already on sale.
