I would like one, but unfortunately most 3d printed items are VERY expensive, and i have had bad experiences with Shapeways before (RIP $40).

I agree, some shapeways products are heavily expensive. Sometimes, 10euros into a single custom mask is not what we want :/ However, I'm surprised you had a bad experience with them, I always had good time uploading and selling on their website, and I can just say most of the creation you can find there is good quality.

It did look good, and it had good reviews, but when i got it the connection points were filled in.
it was an articulated hand, and the connection points are filled in, so it was essentially useless.

Sorry to hear that... I had the same problem once.
well, I always make a personal prototype with my 3D printer before uploading it so I'm sure it works and I can make corrections if needed. Until this day, no one said my masks were inadapted or poorly compatible with Lego parts

I'm impressed with how you reshaped AArami's version to better fit with the Kanohi aesthetic. I think the top vent really suits this mask and reminds me of the movie concept art.

Thanks a lot ! Indeed I was deeply inspirated by his work so I decided to make my own based on his intelligent design and some movie concept arts like you guessed. I wanted to make a set-version of the Kanohi we never had, but it was more interesting to make it identifiable compared to the movie one. Pretty proud of the result.

This is awesome, but I feel it's a bit flat.
