Description
According to BZP Forum Member Tolkien in his Matoran Dictionnary :
"Kanohi Onweku, n.cmpd. “Mask of Intangibility; allows the wearer to become intangible (non-solid)”
Etymology:
onwe, adj. “solid, stable”
-ku, p. “non-, un- (negative particle)”
The element onwe derives from the metaphoric meaning of the elemental stem onu “earth”, with application of the (relatively rare) adjectival particle -ee (onu-ee > onwe). This is combined with the general negative particle ku, yielding the compound onwe-ku “non-solid; intangible”."

Since I made my Nidhiki MOC, I'm now curious about the possibilities of making the traitorous Toa Tuyet. But, not like Nidhiki, her mask was never released or even named ! I used Tolkien's work to name it since I'm a huge fan of his Matoran Dictionnary.
This modelling was first a try to make a fusion of Kanohi Akaku, Miru and Kaukau in an attempt to make a Kanohi Rua, but adding a lens on it didn't worked well. But, I liked the general aspect of the mask by fusing top part of a Miru and low part of a Kaukau, so I had a new mask ready to display.
Masks fusions are pretty cool and enjoyable, maybe I'll try to make more.
This Kanohi has been tested for both Mata and Metru heads, but above all else it is designed to fit a Mata head, wich nicely fill the space.
And guess what ? It is on Shapeways again, here ! It allows a better 3D view
