FINALLY! I’ve been working on this little bits at a time forever it seems, but I finally finished one of my many WIPs!!
I had a lot of fun with this, considering my previous Black Cat stuff is getting pretty old now. This was a chance to see how I've progressed artistically as well as get my Black Cat a little more successfully on paper than I could in the past. All in all, I'm pleased. You may see more of this "going back to my roots" in the future!
Just a couple notes on my Black Cat design:
- yes, I know she doesn't have this hairstyle in *any* comics, but I've always given her this wild mane of hair for a reason. I don't see her as a straight and narrow girl; that's what sets her apart from MJ, Gwen Stacy, and any of the other young ladies in Spider-Man's world. She's wild and untamed, and in my art I draw her hair the same way, so her personality shows through.
- Any critique on the color would be helpful- I found this a very difficult lighting situation, something I had never done before.

Let's see..... First off, I loved this back when it was just plain 'ol lineart, but, goodness... Now it's so much better!! Like... OMG, better.
So... Needless to say, I still love it.
I think yoo did a fantastic job with the lighting, considering, especially, that the pose and the light source is so difficult and so different from what you're used to. I congratulate you, not only for pulling it off, but attempting it in the first place!! Bravo, hunny. You've got guts.
I'm sadly unfamilliar with her, though she seems awesome... So, about the hair conundrum... I think it looks fabulous. The wildness of it totally fits with what I assume her personality must be! Great job, there, too.
So, in closing... /applauds Another fantastic piece, worth all your effort!

well ok.... not a bad piece overall! I like it! Two things. One design and the other color... And farbeit for me to crit anyone elses colors lol. I'm still in the budding stage you could say.
The hair on the left side has a wicked tangent line with her suit. I'd say extend the hair over a little more... or break it up a bit showing the ends not so much as one piece of hair but many strands instead.
Design... I have no idea from what I've read, it could be in there and I missed it. I'm not that great at reading instructions lol I tend to skim instead of actually READ something lol
Anyways, I don't know what material you are wanting to show this as. Leather or vinyl... but I think due to how tight it looks on her and how shinny you have the legs surface reflection, you'd have some reflected highlights on her arms as well. Not just the two places on her left arm... but perhaps on her right arm... around the edge of it on the right hand side of her arm?
and well, that's all I can give ya. Looks really good tho! I like it!

I did hear about the hair issue before... but there were so many other issues to work on, admittedly I forgot to fix that one. 
As for the lighting, I did have more light on the arm to the right but I was displeased with how it looked and finally got rid of it. Spotting highlights has never been a strong point of mine and I just couldn't get the shape to make sense to me. As for the material... It's supposed to be leather but because I saw it being very reflective in this particular image it's behaving more like vinyl. That's an intentional discrepancy though. I thought it would look better if she shined under the spotlight. lol

Oh hey, I don't blame ya. First off, the idea of the vinyl... great idea. I think the outfit should shine for Felica. I right now don't remember what program you're using for coloring... I think it's PS? But a little cheating won't mind if you use the smudge tool to get your highlights and reflective highlights going... spot the center of the area you want the highlight and just smudge out the shape you want the arm to resemble. That pry doesn't make sense... I did a black cat awhile back... if you want to check her out... please feel free. In no way am I saying it's perfect or it's how things should look. If I knew then what I know now, I'd hopefully had made it better. lol
I was in a hurry and working on this for god knows how long... well, I can see how you'd finally just be happy getting it done as I was. lol.
Still great stuff tho! Hope to see more work posted soon. If there's ever anything you like in my gallery and want to know how I did something, let me know. Always happy to share info with fellow artists. Like I said, I'm not a pro per se, I'm still learning. But there's always that chance that you know something I'd like to learn and vice versa.

Thanks for the critiques and the nice offer, I may take you up on that! I'm thinking about reopening the Black Cat file to work on the arm, it does bother me. lol
