Description Random elven character Her skin was supposed to be darker but I'm still not confident with coloring darker skins, especially with watercolor I like to draw this kind of loopy long ears ^^<3 I'm actually pretty happy with coloring in this, as well as the drawing. Though it's scary because it took an hour to sketch, ink and color it. I might end up hating it tomorrow XDDDD Scary gambit

It's Kel'irana, a sun elf, supposed to be some kind of a priestess. Sun elves, -in all my stories- are caramel or darker skinned, all have fair hair and eye color. This lady is actually more prestiged than an ordinary priestess, she's one of the maidens, those serve to their goddess and also trained in a traditional mystic form of martial arts.

I just notcied that muscle on her neck is drawn wrong. I suppose I stretched out wrong muscle =___=;;; anyway... minor detail for untrained eyes

Nice backstory but I ama more curious about what she was doing that resulted in that expression?

I have no idea XDDDD Brat, you had to poke that right? Actually I think she must be gazing into a magnificent scenery, she looks almost homesick and sad D:

Yeah, definitely a magnificent scenery though my interpretation was somewhat different. Must be because of her open mouth, adding the 'homesick and sad' look, my result was kinda different.

Of course you're the artist here, what you say is the default truth!

Love the shading I'm the other way round- more confident with the darker tones- I like using burnt siena as a base skin tone which turns most of my skin tones tan brown at the very least! I love the life you always capture in the eyes

Ah, thank you ^^ I'm trying to improve in every piece, I'll definitely try using a darker palette to try drawing darker skin. But when you deal with watercolor, you never know when you might mess things up D: I guess that's exciting on it's own
