Description Here is the reworked reference of Fiore i made for I think I like this version of the perverted figurehed much better than the previous one! ^^
__________________

Name: Fiorenziano Testaferro (Fiore)

Sex: Genderless (though feminine) body, Male soul

Age: 121

Height: 1,86 m

Weight: 53 kg

Species: Undead (possessed figurehead)

Personality: Cheerful, fun loving and easy going, Fiorenziano could pass for one of the most friendly persons in the world... especially towards the ladies. He is also a daydreamer, and he utterly loves adventures and discovering new things. However, as harmless as he can seem, it's not a good idea to trust him completely, because he's also extremely selfish and stubborn, and he put his own interest before everything else.
When he was alive, Fiorenziano usually tried to act with refinement, but he lost most of his manners during his forced insulation. Now, while he may still sound refined from time to time, he is quite childish and has nearly no sense of personal space, so he can be quite annoying.
Finally, while he do loves adventures and challenges, he still behaves quite cowardly when he's in danger, and he has no problem using cheap tricks and tactics.

Background: Fiore comes from a parallel world where magic and science co-exist, but the two are actually the anthitesis of each other and works on conflicting principles, so trying to study and use them toghether usually drives people crazy. However, some really bold people (called Arcanists) do it anyway, and while it has a really bad effect on their minds, they can harness an incommensurable power (although arcane machines and constructs are usually highly unstable) and warp reality itself.
So the world is littered with incidents of Arcane Technology experiments gone wrong, and in some areas the effects of are so strong that they can raise the death and cause dangerous mutations.
The Sea of Mists (where Fiore died and was raised as Undead) is one of this places.

History: Since he was a kid, Fiorenziano always dreamed of being a pirate (despite coming from a wealthy family), and finally, at the age of 21, he realized his dream and joined a pirate crew as navigator.
However, despite studying hard to become a navigator, he had a REALLY bad sense of direction and he got lost with the entire crew in the cursed Sea of Mists, where they died of radiation poisoning and got raised as undeads by the magic in the air.
His crewmates, who were (justifiably) mad at him, crucified him to the figurehead of the ship, and he stayed there alone for about 100 years.
During this time, his rotting body decayed and fell into the ocean, safe for his right hand who was nailed to the figurehead torso, but his spirit remained and eventually possessed the wood of the statue. During this time, his sanity also slipped a bit, and he started behaving in quite a childish way and developed the habit of talking constantly in order to fight his loneliness.

Likes:

-Women

-Company
-Discovering new things

Dislikes:

-Being hit on by guys
-Silence
-Being alone

-Rabbits

Power and Abilities
Fiore is a somewhat good swordsman, but he is still an amateur, and all he learned about hand to hand fighting only by brawling in taverns. He is also quite smart and cunning, and he can easily trick gullible people. When upset or angry, he also shifts into his Haunted form, gaining longer arm and claw like fingers.
The hand nailed on his torso is where his soul resides. If disconnected from the body, it can move autonomously and if nailed on some other inanimate object, it can possess it. However, the figurehead is the easier object to possess, so he won't change it if he has a choice.

Strenghts
-Super strong
-Cunning and smart
-Ruthless
-Undead: Fiore is, by all means, a classical undead: most wounds don't really damage him, he can't feel pain, he don't sleep or feel tired, etc. Also, since the energies that revived him were really chaotic, most forms of magic that damage undeads have a limited effect on him. Also, he can reattach or replace any missing limb.
-Wooden Body: Fiore's body is made of really hard wood, so it's much more resilient than flesh. It's also much lighter, and that, combined with his super strenght, allows him to make really long jumps and run really fast.

Weaknesses
-The hand nailed on his belly is the only remain of his original body, and he would die if it's destroyed.
-Fire
-No sense of balance: since he hasn't walked in about 100 years and he doesn't even has his original body, Fiore has a very poor sense of balance. He also doesn't know his strenght, so he is extremely clumsy. In his Haunted Form, however, he can easily run on all 4, so he doesn't have this problem.
-He is always talking, even when alone, so he's easy to find and he often doesn't pay much attention to his surroundings.
-Absolutely no sense of direction.

Trivia:
-He still considers himself human, and is greatly upset when someone call him monster.
-His voice is still masculine.
-He doesn't enjoy his feminine appearance, but he would still exploit it if he needs to.
-He's a huge pervert. He has no claim grabbing ladies in inappropriate places should the chance arise, and he is also fond of pornography.
-He is a huge liar too. When he talks to people, most of his blabbering is made of tall tales and obvious lies.
-He has serious problem shutting his mouth.
-His default expression is smiling.
-He has a mild phobia of rabbits, mainly because as a child his city was attacked by an army of giant mechanical rabbits.

Fairly certain a wooden figurehead of equal size to a human would weigh considerably more than a human.

Actually... ALL woods (especially if dry) have a specific weight significantly smaller than water... and 70% of the human body is made of water. Just think about it: wood floats on water, while human bodies does not always do that (if you're not holding your breath, you go down like a hammer! xD)

Actually... 1 cubic metre of Oak wood can weigh anywhere between 590-930Kg, cut that metre cubed block in half then stack one atop the other and you've got a roughly human sized shape, a man at 6'1" (1.86m) should weigh around 87Kg.

ehm... 1 cubic metre of human body is roughly 985 kg... Fiore should weigh about 69 kg, but he could have some cavities inside him that make him lighter.

I like his background story, but I can't help but think that a male in a female-looking body is really weird

Ahahahahah! Well, you're right. It is actually pretty weird... but I also think it's funny, and it gives me plenty of comedic possibilites!

Ooh I like this haunted form, a lot less cliche'd than "berserker mode" or something, I look forward to seeing these spooks

Why thank you! I was also bored of cliched "berserker modes", so i used the opposite concept for him: the Haunted form it's Fiore's REAL form, it's just that he doesn't like it and force himself into the "normal" form... but he reverts back when he snaps.
