Dear Pluto, one of my favorites, so pretty QoQ I'm not a fan of her anime garnet rod too much but i really, really like the manga version ^-^ Her front bow in the eternal form is shown as a magenta in the manga artbooks, and even though im crazy about every little detail, I couldn't do a magenta bow. So she has brown, the original intended color for her.

• Setsuna's last name comes from "Meiousei" which is Japanese for Pluto, with the same kanji.

• Setsuna can sound like "setsunai" which means "painful" in Japanese. It is thought that her name in the first English Dub, "Trista", was chosen to take advantage of this since Trista comes from the Latin "triste", meaning "sad".

•In 1998, a canadian toy company called Irwin released a line of "Senshi of the Outer Solar System" dolls well before Sailor Moon S' airing in North America, and Setsuna was given the name "Celia"

• Setsuna is the only Solar System Senshi who's hair color in the musicals was not consistent with the anime or manga.

• In the official art for the Black Moon Arc, Pluto's brooch in the center of her bow is garnet, however when she is reawakened in the Infinity Arc, it is recolored black.

• She is also the only Solar System Senshi in the anime to invent a civilian identity for herself rather than having one before becoming a Senshi.

• Setsuna is the tallest among the Sailor Senshi, but ironically her guardian planet is the smallest.

• In the Pluto and Saturn 'Punch' comic at the back of the 4th volume of the re-released manga, Naoko said that drawing Sailor Pluto turned out to be a difficult task, due to the different ink tones she had to prepare for her hair and skin, as well as the complexity of the Garnet Rod.

• Pluto is named after the Roman god of the underworld, hence why her powers and attacks are centered around death and judgement, and can explain why the dominant color of her fuku is black.

• In the manga, many references have been made of Pluto being the daughter of Chronos, the Roman god of time.
