ohmagaadd. You have no idea how much I LOVE my Sailor Uranus. She's not particularly one of my favorite senshi [of course i love all the senshi though!] but i am really proud of her. The old version was absolutely disgusting so i'd like to pretend it never happened.

• Haruka's last name comes from "Tennousei" which is Japanese for Uranus, with the same kanji.

• Despite bing totally dedicated to Michiru, Haruka often flirts with Usagi.

•In 1998, a canadian toy company called Irwin released a line of "Senshi of the Outer Solar System" dolls well before Sailor Moon S' airing in North America, and Haruka was given the name "Corinn"

• In the manga and artbooks, Haruka is pictured with a "Ferrari F512M"; Naoko's favorite car.

• Uranus is the Greek god of the sky who was one of the first beings in existence and father of the Titans. Thus, the planet's name in Japanese, "Sky King Star".

• It is well known that in the first English dub of the anime, Haruka was changed from being Michiru's lover to being her cousin. Even though this change was made, it only affected the dialogue and nothing was done to the animation, making them come off as incestuous. [and personally, i must say, this really upsets me.. put lightly -_-'] However in the french dub they were "best friends". [which is infinitely better x.x]

• Haruka was able to drive a car and ride a motorcycle despite the fact she was only 17 and the age for earning a driver's license in Japan was 18. In the anime, when this was brought up, she claimed she got her license abroad. [orly?]

• When the voice actress of Haruka, Megumi Ogata, asked the director, Kunuhiko Ikuhara, how she was supposed to portray Haruka and Michiru's relationship, she was told to act as if they were a married couple.
