Description
St. Anastasia Monastery was built in 1999. It is located on the outskirts of Zhytomyr on the site of the old sanatorium. For the construction of the temple funds were allocated from the treasury. Most sacrificed parishioners. In one of the old buildings was built the temple of Sergius of Radonezh. And in 2002, the cathedral of Anastasia Roman with a lower side altar of the monk Seraphim Sarovsky appeared on the monastery territory.
