Figured I should post this here, actually, soooo there you go:
They look great - I really like the large variety of poses that you included in your reference drawing. Remember that you don't have to draw it in my style though: I don't mind it at all if you use your style, as well. In the end, just go whatever you feel most comfortable with (which might well be a mixture between both styles, who knows?), that'll make them look best. I see some Sonic influence in there too, so it's quite a mixture already. :3
As for hints - be careful to not make characters look too stiff. Generally you did an excellent job drawing them, and the poses look natural. :3 On some of them, like the top left one, the back is an almost completely straight line - and straight lines rarely occur in nature (almost anything straight is man-made).
Apart from that though, you did a really nice job. If your pictures turn out too pale, one thing you could try is play with gamma levels and use that to make it darker. This usually does a much better job at preserving white spots than simple turning down the brightness does. A few of the popular applications even have features like "Auto-Level" which will do that for you. If you don't have Photoshop, you can always go for Paint.NET (if you have Windows) or GIMP (if you have *nix), which are free and have a lot of features that Photoshop does, too. For example, I simply changed the levels a bit, and made it look like [link] . The few blurry specks you see in there are compression artefacts, since you compressed your drawing heavily - it'd look better if you did that on your original. In addition - for pencil sketches, try using a different format, like GIF or PNG: both of them are loss-less and will likely not be much bigger than JPEG with similar quality on a pencil drawing (unless you want to use a lossy format, to not put a high-quality original on the internet, which is what I do on that Flash game, too).
Anyhow, I think that's all I have to add for now. Keep up the good work.

Heh, thanks alot for the advice and Im very glad to here that you like it. and as for a better explaination on why the image came out pale, its because my scanner is a little messed up, unlike before were it automaticly adjusts to make the image appear more clear as seen in some of my older posts I now had to manually adjust the scanner which is difficult especially when the preview appears icon sized...anyway thanks again and yes if there is one thing I need to work on its avoiding straight lines...its sort of a habbit I have from drawing mecha for so many years (animals is sorta new to me), but like I said before I learn quick.
hope to here from you again soon!
