A collection of drawings and comics of Edd and my hat-theory.
These are from his toddler years, current years, from "Highschool" (teenager), and from "Working." (adult).

"He has long hair?"
"HES EMO, THATS SO SEXY!!!!"
"He looks like a hippy."
"Wow, now he really looks gay."
"Lol, anime hair."
"Why doesn't he just cut his hair?"
"How does all of that fit in his little hat?"

This is a gist of few of the worst, shallow comments and expected, logical questions I recieved about my Edd design over the years.
I actually thought this theory out; it isn't like I randomly put something on paper. But after I published it online, people were not seeing it as a problem. To most he had "just long hair", "just messy hair", or "just a mullet". I didn't even know what a mullet was.

I do realise that people can't know the backstory, or even what the crap on his head really is, by just looking at one picture.
But I also think people shouldn't agree with me just because "Edd looks so hot now", and that goes for more designs out there. But if you're assuming that my theory is just another "he's got long hair"-theory, then expect a bomb in the mail.

Even though I already published two submissions discussing the theory alone (2007/2008) and a crippled Wikia page about the matter, I never really portrayed the issue in its full glory, including the "how" and the "why".

For people who still don't know what they're looking at, these are the issues:
- Edd's parents messed up his hair, in a shock Edd tried to "fix" it himself.
- Edd didn't go to the barber (mr. Nicolas) and didn't show anyone because he was ashamed.
- Edd started wearing a hat, and while his father didn't ask any questions, his mother did, but he was able to satisfy her with showing her only his bangs and what was left of his long hair.
- Edd's mother obviously respects long hair and helped Edd hide it from his father by giving him her hairpins.
- Things get stuck easily, and there's alot of fancy junk in Edd's hair. Including the souls of lost children and dogs.
- Edd isn't afraid for scissors, but is when having to use it cut his own hair. That's why he never tried it again.
- Edd is stupid, and now his hair became one big, indestructible tangle. That'll teach him.
- Eddy came with a solution almost 10 years later, and brought Edd a special kind of hair gel.
- Edd's hair has the same shape as his hat. Deja vu .

This is my last submission for the year, since I have to focus on my upcoming animation for the next 8 weeks.
