Description
Prompt: drawing a pony lost at sea/drawing a pony drifting.Trying to figure out painting. I'm actually kinda proud of the water, though I need quite a bit of work on improving the rest.

Love the clouds on this one including the background. Not much I can say, but the shading and details look pretty nice. Though, the Reflections where the land and sea meet, are pretty greaaatt.
Only thing I'd suggest is adding more of a reflective...-ness to the sun, I'd kinda think there's be a sun reflection ya know?
Again with my minor thing, but this one doesn't quite fit right with me. The Sky doesn't look very warm or inviting. Looks like the sky has some type of pollution. Which I'm assuming you've used your own city's sunset to model after, and that already has pollution. but I dunno, Looks odd to me.

Yeah, I get what you mean.
And looking back on it, it does look kinda polluted huh? That was unintentional, I was going for more of a sunset-y type feel, though it's clear that I messed up with that. Guess I went too far towards a green tinge by accident.

I mean, mostly I'd just see sunsets/sunrise at a full on shades of orange with yellow. And at the edges either a dark shade of blue or black. Whichever ones.
I understand what you were going for, which is how I caught on. I dunno, Ask some of your followers. They might be happy to critique for you.
