Description Ive been meaning to post pics of my Revell B-25, was going to take a pic of it outside but i got side tracked.....Today Idecided to go with my dad to a HAM radio convention. Im not fully into radios, but i like collecting the old stuff, and he said there's sometime millitary things there, so that got my attention, and he was right!. Long story short, I found a few of these WW2 vintage ARC 5 Transmitters and receivers from planes. This one I looked up, and found out the silver ones are the Army Air Corps versions, , and i saw a pic of one the same model in a war time B-29 pic, so its possible it could have been in a B-25.
I came home with more, which i'll post later...i have a painted version which acording to the site I looked at, its off a WW2 Navy plane.

Back to the model, Its all box stock...and the worst thing about it, i did all this detail painting, and you can barley see any of it...oh well...still a pretty detailed build for something out of the box, like most of Revell's planes I handpainted this one, and gave a a black wash which gave it more of a weathered, veteran look which I like. Ive always wanted an ol radio like this to display with one of my models, and there was a booth that hada ll of them dirt cheap, so i bought 2 receivers, and 2 transmitters. I actually wanted just one, but my dad encouraged me and told me to get another one lol XD
I'll take a better pic of the model outside when there's more light out

She turned out great - nice work on the yellow cowlings. Yellow is always hard for me to get it to look right!

Thanks I have a hard time with yellow also especially when im brush painting like what I did here. Spraying yellow's almost just as much as a pain! lol

Wow - I don't even attempt brush painting yellow on big areas. Even with a good primer, it's still a lot of work!

Awesome work on the scale model of the B-25, and cool find with the transmitters and receivers. I'll be sure to submit this to a few groups fir you.
