Description
A portrait of a woman with red hair, took me about 3 hours.Only standard Photoshop brushes were used.

Through trial and error really.. Firstly, I used the hard brushes (Which I prefer) for the placement of the colors I wanted and secondly I mainly used the softer brushes to blend the lines made with the hard brushes. I just did this until I was satisfied. -and I wasn't satisfied until a couple of hours.

Wow, this is beautifully done. The tones on her skin are so varying and soft. Her profile is quite lovely as well. I love the color palette you used overall. It's really impressive that you used the basic brushes as well! I think that the only thing that detracts from the softness of this piece is the coarseness of her hair- it seems so rough in comparison to her soft features. Just my personal opinion is all, this is a far better digital painting than I could ever fathom doing! 8)

Yes I fully agree, I did not have the patience to give as much attention to the hair as I did to her face.. Maybe I'll spent some more time on it in the future.. But anyway, Thank you for your words! Really appreciated!
