Wolves should drop meat, teeth claws eyes...all coud be useful I'm sure, and the meat for cooking of course...dogs drop meat werewolves drop human flesh...why not wolves?
Anywho great story very good, had many battles with Skyrim's Wolves, hunted them a fair bit to, always a real trick to sneak up on them.

Cool and yes PS3 is a fine system indeed. If and when I buy a PS4 it'll be when I can play PS3 games on it and if so I'll gladly trade in my PS3 to aid in paying for it. I have an HD TV not a big one but it's big enough for me to play my games and watch movies on.

Gorgeous ... this looks like a combination of oil pastel and watercolor. I actually held my breath until the part about "a fresh carrot" - was worried the poor horse had been killed by the collision between wolf and Khajiit. Most inspirational, as always!

Thanks, Ithildin!!!
Truth be told...
This "Ambushed!" was a dramatic scene I managed to capture in-game, thanks to Sher Bahadur's instinctive catlike reflexes.
But when I checked the image later, it was too dark. I had to tweak the contrast and colors to make the wolf vivid, and somehow the image became more like a painting than a photo/screenshot. So I guess I messed it up a bit. Sorry about that.
Regarding the horse, I use the "Convenient Horse" mod to make my horse immortal and its default behavior is set to avoid fights. I love animals (that's the druid in me talking ), and I never, ever let any horse die. Heck, I even resurrect the Skyrim animals after I'm forced to hunt and skin them! Except those that when resurrected tend to slither on the ground unnaturally (e.g., trolls and rabbits). Those are scary!
For anyone that's interested, the location is near the Hall of the Vigilant . There's a spawn point nearby for a wolf, and the terrain is a bit hilly there with huge mounds of snow and rocky boulders, making it easy for the wolf to jump you suddenly. So if you are interested, see if you can ambush that pesky wolf.
