No, srsly! the official figures are retard looking (to my taste) with the big grins and stuff. I'd like them to produce finer things in interesting poses, just like this

Yeah, I see what you mean. 
I too would love to see official turtle figures that would resemble the characters of one of the animated series more closely and show them in natural postures, no matter if that would make them more fragile or impossible to move. I mean, it's normal that children would prefer solid toys with dynamic functions they can easily play with, but I'm sure there's a good number of adult fans and collectors who would be ready to pay a little bit more for quality products to simply collect and put on display at home. I know I would.
Well, I still need a lot of practice with clay, but it's very encouraging to know that you have such a positive opinion of my very humble skills and that you find the result interesting.

I am totally with you. Those grins are very unnatural, even for them.
I would love figures with more sense of aesthetics for adult collectors. They do succeded in making them retro...but maybe that was one of those things that should have changed, i don't know...
I insist, the pose is great. I can't work with clay

I agree about the retro look. I have seen a set of official figures designed to bear faithful resemblance to the original Mirage characters, and I think fans of that particular incarnation of TMNT must love the result, because I have to say those figures really look like they've stepped right out of an old comic book.
Personally, though, I much prefer the more realistic aspect that the turtles have gained over the years and that's the kind of figures I would love to see.

Hehe! You're right, it looks like Leo lost his dear katanas. 
Actually, I didn't really consider including the accessories (although he almost always carries them on him), because I was afraid that blades made of clay would be too fragile. I guess it would indeed have made him look about 20 % cooler, though...
Next time I try making a clay TMNT, I'll definitely think about adding weapons.
