It's an Orthodox church. Look for cross

wow, this is awesome indeed! One hell of an art
You have talent for watercolours!
Have you been to Poland? In what city is this church located? St. Nicholas..hmm, I can't recall now.

Thank you! No I've never been to Poland, I would love to! I did this painting from a photo in a book (Church in ruins). It is said to be the oldest tserkva in the eparchy of Peremyshl and the oldest in Poland too. It is on top of a hill overlooking the Syan river. It was used by Ukranian Basillian Fathers hundreds of years ago as a school for wood carvers and makers of other ecclesiastical ornaments. Its an older painting, I used to paint a lot of old churches and other buildings.

Well you have a talent for painting architecture I may say. Yes, now I recall where this Church might be. Interesting stuff

That's nice, i like the sky, one thing thats tricky in watercolours is to produce a sky that doesn't look abit..like floating cotton wool.

Thanks! yea, skies really can be tricky, I always wet the whole paper before applying sky colors so they will be softer and a little easier to spread the colors or remove some of it with a paper towel. Still sometimes they don't come out right!
