Archery: Samanya has been practicing with a bow since she was six years old. There have been plenty of mistakes and she's still not great at hitting a fast moving target, but she's ;earned to hunt

Basic survival: Along with archery and hunting she learned how to field dress and cook her hunts, to make a campfire and simple shelter.

Handle animal: Her life as a farm hand has taught her quite a bit about how to handle livestock and domestic animals/pokemon. Though she will insist that you don't try to talk down an angry Mightyena if you snipe their kill.

Samanya has always made a point to be truthful to herself, no matter the consequences. She tends to put a good amount of energy into whatever she is doing at the time and will always come to the aid of friends and loved ones if they're in trouble.

Ever since she got off the boat, Sam has been unnerved.. New things all around her, the swarm of new people of all different races and backgrounds. While she prides herself in her honesty, it can be harmful when someone asks a stupid question or she thinks ill of another - not holding back on what she thinks of the situation.. She also has a short fuse.

Backstory
Samanya's home was a small farming community in the Old World with a family of five: her father, mother, older brother and younger sister. From a young age, Sam would often help out along the farm - tending to the livestock or helping to harvest produce during spring and autumn.. During which she would see the guard that would patrol the woods every so often: dealing with would-be thieves or even taking care of the occassional wild pokemon. From that moment she took up the bow and would set up makeshift targets out of musty hay bales and skins. Through practice she would begin to make her own excursions around the community after her farm work was finished for the day. She began to hunt and take her own patrols - other than that her life was a quiet one and the years passed rather quickly as her brother took on more responsibilities with the farm.

Sam has always been fearful of the unknown - even moreso with the invention of Automaton pokemon (as her family would be considered old fashioned) and word of expedition after expedition failing and those who had sailed across the waves were never heard from again. With news of a twelfth expedition, she began to pack a rucksack - albeit reluctantly. They never returned, they always failed.. But something told her that this one was different. After a tearful good bye, she entrusted her old bow to her litle sister and a hunting luck charm she had made out of Talonflame feathers to her brother. The thought of leaving home - going somewhere entirely new and unseen scared her, terrified her, but one doesn't get over their fears without confronting them.. right?

She spends her off time collecting things - trinkets and neat things that she can one day hopefully send back home to her siblings.. Though she is currently in denial with the fact that she may never see her family again.
