Description Okay so I'm jumping on the bandwagon, because it looked like a lot of fun!

Left to right, top to bottom:

1. J.C Leyendecker - I am incessantly jealous of the way he paints menswear. And men actually.

2. 1920s Glitz - especially the diamante studded heels!

3. Charles Dana Gibson - because his linework is breathtaking.

4. Historic Costume - self explanatory really, but I eat, sleep and breathe costume so it gets four whole squares.

5. Vintage Photos - this one is of Phyllis Dare, she is beautiful.

6. Elizabeth I - (also, Helen Mirren) THE CLOTHES. OH THE CLOTHES.

7. William Morris - because I would very much like to live at Kelmscott and be surrounded by his work.

8. 18th Century Portraits - I really like the colours and tones of old paintings.

9. Wedgewood Cameo Ware - always brings a smile to my face, plus the colours are lovely.

10. Japonisme - amazing style, gorgeous muted colours and delicate patterns = East meets West perfection.

11. =Jumei - her work is amazingly inspiring, in particular her use of colour and tone.

12. Mucha - and Moet too.

13. Band of Brothers - motivational, epic, moving and so, so good to look at (case in point: Doc Roe).

14. Charles Frederick Worth - long live the greatest fashion designer of all time (imho).

15. Arts and Crafts - the interiors, the colours, the shiny shiny lustreware ceramics.

16. *Phobs - because when I am feeling uninspired I like to look at his amazingly well drawn men in uniform expressions.

17. Pearls - god bless oysters.

Agreed! His work is so beautiful and comes across as so realistic but idealistic at the same time. I just love it.
