I have always loved sylvanas and i have always loved illidan.totally inaccurate to the lore, but i love the concept.
not sylvanas' character to fall in love, but maybe illidan is just the perfect "bad boy with a soft heart" that i cant stand in most stories, and maybe sylvanas helps illy forget about the slutbitchho tyrande.

hmm its actually a pretty good concept or fan story idea, but I think you've mistaken Tyrande for Jaina Proudmoore. Tyrande only ever cared for Malfurion Stormrage even though she grew up with the brothers, that and she put her duties to her people before all else.

no i really did mean tyrande. illidan was in love with her, even if she didnt love him back. and im pretty sure her duties to elune would come before her people, though it is very high on her priorities.
i hate both jaina and tyrande. along with a few other characters that have nothing to do with this lol.

i think tyrandes new model suits her. so....frilly and at any moment she will be hugging a unicorn and butterflies will land in her hair.
i like garrosh...im one of those "put the war back in warchief" people. i think blizz intended most people to take that stance, but now have to make him a bad guy because so many ppl hate him.
BUT
i do love how sylvanas acts towards him. i dont care who she is a bitch TO.....when she is, it is amazing. such a badass.

didnt she die? i thought that the quest in Ghostlands where you get the necklace that drops off the banshee was supposed to imply that Alleria had died and you had just killed her banshee.

i do it every once in a while... just like all the zones. except the dwarf ones....because no matter how much i love dwarves, i dont ever keep them unless i level them in the human area.
anywho...yeah its not too bad a quest. you go up to this tower to kill some banshees and undead and freaky humans if i remember right, and "the lady's necklace" drops from a banshee. you take it to some forsaken guy in tranquilleen and he tells you to take it to sylvanas who sings the Lament of the Highborne and then is all "FUCK THIS SHIT! IM UNDEAD! I DONT CRY!" and throws the necklace on the ground like a boss. lol
pretty song though. kinda repetitive, beautiful voice.

Tyrande was caring for both, Malfurion and Illidan.
When it was time to "chose" as a Sentiel said to her, she had a very difficult time. She has chosen Malfurion before Illidan because he was more mature and right-minded. She never started to dislike Illidan, you can see that as she is one of the very elves to give Illidan a second chance and gets him out of the prison. She also couldn't believe that he turned into a demon later on(where he was kind of tricked into!)
But even though, her place was mostly with Elune as she was a high priestess.
...Jaina is another topic but I'm done with lore for the moment xD

lol agreed. it doesnt make me hate her any less though. she still broke illidans heart and he became mopey and lovesick for it. not to mention that in game she drives me nuts and always has. is it just me or when she "invokes" the power of Elune, does elune not do all the work?

and in the new illidan/malfurion/tyrande content in the game (well of eternity instance) they really had to go out of their way to make illidan seem like a douchebag and not just a badass. that isnt how i remember him ever... not THAT far. they are really playing up that malfurion is a good guy... but i still cant look at him without hating what he did to his brother. illidan was very naive and was tricked into a lot of things. all he ever wanted to do was help. maybe if his brother was proud of him every once in a while it wouldnt have become such an obsession.

i think i like vol jin. he can be a good person without being a bad character.
and vaelen is all goody two shoes but doesnt really do anything within the game. he stands around in the exodar really... he did some good stuff but as far as character goes, all he displays is old. so hes Meh on my list lol.
