Seen a lot of these family trees going around, so I decided to try one out myself! (:

Clover the Clever is the direct ancestor of Velvet Sparkle, and therefore Twilight, Shining Armor, Flurry Heart, and etc.

Velvet Sparkle and Night Light are the parents of Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor. Although not technically related to Calypso, they consider her a granddaughter because of how often they see Cadence.

Shining Armor was formerly married to Queen Cadence, but their divorce was in no way a harsh one. Shining was aware of the former friendship his wife shared with the Changeling Queen, and understood that the marriage between them was political. Cadence and Chrysalis really do love each other, though, a lot. The Changeling Queen lives in the Crystal Empire, and although Cadence and Shining Armor aren't technically married anymore, they continue to rule their kingdom alongside each other. Chrysalis is... an "honorary" queen of sorts.

Shining and Cadence still love each other, and he was very considerate and patient throughout the whole process.

Twilight and Tempest were practically inseparable after the events of the Storm King. They soon have one child together, and raise her within the walls of Twilight's castle.

Spike was adopted into the Sparkle Family by Velvet and Night Light. He was considered a brother to SA and Twi growing up, but Twilight always shared more of a motherly bond with him. When she moved out of the Sparkle household, her parents helped her through the government process of becoming Spike's legal guardian. He lived with her until adulthood, then lived with Thorax and the reformed Changelings.

Flurry Heart secretly despises both of her welch of a cousin and half-sister. Cassie returns the same animosity- the two are pretty competitive with each other. Calypso, though, just wants to have a good relationship with her big sis... She admired Flurry a lot growing up, and wanted to be pretty just like her.

Extra Notes:

- Since Chrysalis mothered both Thorax and Calypso, they're technically siblings. Then again, basically all of the Changelings are related, so the two of them have a lot of siblings running around.

- Velvet Sparkle and Night Light find it pretty funny that all three of their grandkids are alicorns

- It's not really implied on the graft, but technically Spike is the adoptive brother of both Twilight and Shining Armor. Still, he always saw himself with two moms- Velvet and Twilight.

- Thorax and Spike don't have any kids, at least not yet. They're kid-aged in the show, and would be young adults around this time

- I kinda headcanon that the reformed Changeling design isn't really a thing. I like Pharynx's design, but I really do love how the scary Changelings looked. So I'll headcanon that Thorax never changed into his moose-looking form, and kept the colors he had. Maybe he got as big as Chrysalis though, I dunno... Since he's a kid, I'd say he eventually grows past the average Changeling size and reaches Chrys's height, but definitely not immediately as portrayed in the show.

- Cassie was forced to visit the Crystal Empire a lot and spend quality time with her cousin. To an untrained eye, she looked much more like Flurry Heart than Flurry Heart herself, probbbbably because she looks a lot like Cadence. While Flurry would be infuriated, Cas didn't mind even a little. She may hate her cousin, but she loves Auntie Cade.

- Flurry Heart's wings are still huge. Even though that may seem like she'd find it easier to fly, she can't really fly at all, just like her cousin Cas. Her wings are too big, and therefore unbalanced. She can fly sometimes and can glide with ease, but actual flapping? Nope. Really sucks, too, because her biggest idol growing up was Rainbow Dash.

Also, made a new design for Calypso! (daughter of Cade and Chrys). Here's her suuuppperrrr old ref: I'll probably give her a fresh ref with her new design soon enough! Calypso (the actual name) makes me think about Calypso from Greek Mythology, and since she's trapped on her island I tried to incorporate more sea-like colors into her design. (: And if you didn't see, yesterday I updated Cassie's (hopefully) final design, which I linked above <3

I changed a lot of stuff. Flurry will probably remain and only child. I've kinda set my mind on the idea that Cas is the only kid Twilight and Tempest have, and while Chrysalis has thousands of little changeling kiddies, her only grub kiddo with Cadence is Calypso.

I probably forgot some stuff, and if you see a mistake or anything just let me know, I probably made a few and haven't noticed :') It was so relaxing to sit down and make this tree. I had a lot of fun with it, and I'm really considering doing it with the rest of the Mane 6 o:
