Everything that exists has a reason to be. Every living being on Earth is fuelled with purpose. While the great majority of humans forget their mission upon incarnating here and spend their life seeking meaning, lost amidst materialistic societies and ideologies, every step we take, regardless of the direction, has immeasurable worth. Every new experience adds to the universe's evolution. Our lives, as well as the lives of all other living beings with whom we share planet Earth, are valuable beyond words.

Consciousness on Earth was painted with the beauty and essence of life on Earth in mind. Leaves, flowers, feathers and crystals adorn the head of the central figure, representing the plant, animal and mineral kingdoms. The individual portrayed in this painting is no other than the collective spirit of Gaia (Earth) and its inhabitants.

By choosing to come here, we join Earth's collective consciousness. Although most humans do not realize they are connected to each other and to their planet, this collective awareness is a web-work of knowledge, feelings and experiences, and it is always available for us to explore. One only needs to quiet his mind in order to listen and feel the spirit within him, a spirit which is one of the countless sparks which make up our universe, physical and non-physical alike. Our planet is a precious jewel and in spite of the atrocities some of our peers inflict on others, completely blinded by illusion and distortion, Earth's energy is one of love. The symbol on the figure's chest is Anahata, also known as the heart chakra. It represents the consciousness of love and it is the force which compels us to be compassionate and loving towards one another. A spirit would choose Earth to incarnate to experience, learn about, and spread love. In time, through the teachings of compassion, devotion and kindness, acts fueled by hatred and fear will fade away. Love is the main driving force of the universe.

The human race may need a few more centuries before it can remember and hold on to this fundamental truth, but as more of us unite and act compassionately, this shift becomes more concrete every day.
