Oh, so these ARE tarot cards! I was doubtful with The Tower, but now that you have Roman numerals there, it clicked XD

I wondered if someone would pick it up. Yes you know my secret. I have been into Tarot cards since I was 13. My mother had a friend who would read cards and taught my mom who would read mine. I then was shown when I was 18 but never touched them as I do not believe in using another person cards. I have 2 of my own but don't read them as I like to not know my future. Silly I know. I haven't read them ever since 2001. I will never read them again, but I still adore my cards. So I just decided to try doing some manips of one of my decks.

Naw c: Yeah, I've been reading since I was about nine-ish (which would be around 2005 ish) but I was recently really shot down about it, so I don't think I'll be reading anymore, either. :T Everyone told me my readings were spot on accurate, then I had some psychic tell me to "get it out of my system and stop" because I wasn't born to do it. It really upset me, so I put my cards away. :/

That bites. Some psychics are intimidated by new readers. The one who taught my mom knew she wasn't going to do it for money. She only did it for family. As for me it was only for myself. If that is her income source (which in my opinion it should not be) then she may have been afraid of loosing her regulars. Now that is unless she said something else more detailed in her readings. I stopped as I had the death card appear in my spread in 2001. I misread who the card represented but I read it right. I thought it was my boyfriend (ex now) at the time was going to be killed in a bad accident, but it was instead a best friend of mine. I tried so much to intervene my EX that I didn't realize it was actually referring to my best friend who died a couple of days before February 14 2001. I knew my best friend was close to me and that he wanted to be more, but I misread and thought it meant the guy I was dating at the time. I never picked them up again to read.

._. That's terrible.

I guess you're right, though. With some things, it's best just to not know in advance. But when I did my own readings, I tried not to tell the future. Just tell things I didn't know. My last reading for myself was "How do people think of me/view me?" because I was having a rough time socially. I don't believe I ever finished that reading... no, I didn't :/ I wrote down what the cards were so I could finish interpereting them later. I'm half way through the interpereting, but I'm not sure I want to finish it. I'm not really afraid of it, but I don't have any more zeal for it. The lady was so blunt about it. You have to be born psychic. Yeesh. Sorry. Nevermind.
