The Disciple of Babylon has a fondness for melee weapons, although they are limited. Preferring a variety of spears, lances and swords. The Combat blades are a variety of non-powered combat knives and powered swords, used by all Babylonian infantry, with some variants meant for certain units.

The Makhaira Pattern, is the standard combat knife of the Babylonian rank and file, a sharp blade made of a mix of titanium and Adamantine. A single edge blade, meaning it is a slashing weapon.

The Minoan Pattern, is the standard combat knife for Generals of the Babylonian forces. a short but decorated blade, used for thrusting and hacking, being double edged.

The Xiphon Pattern, is a typical power sword of the Babylonian military, used as an alternative to their regular combat knives of all Hoplite variants.

The Kopis Pattern, an power weapon option for troops mounted on jet bikes, it is a heavy slashing blade. Although some non-mounted Hoplites has used the Kopis pattern depending on personal preferences.

The Naue Pattern, a power weapon option for officers only. It is a have blade with space for intricate and decorative patterns along the blade, depending on the rank of General. Although, it has been reported that a very scares few War Priests wield the power sword along with their staves and Psychic powers. It is unknown if there is a variant of the Naue that is attuned to Psychic powers.

The Harpe Pattern, is a rare power weapon variant and is an optional variant for some elite Hoplite units of the Babylonians. Mostly likely Sacred Band and Spartans.
