A species of Space Dog that is trained by the Rescue Corps for...well, rescue missions. At first, he starts off small, but after enough time spent with the new recruit and the Pikmin, he becomes big enough to ride upon, for both the recruit and the Pikmin. A long time pet of the Shepherd Family, Oatchi used to only obey Captain Shepherd's commands, and because of their connection, she can train him in a wide variety of techniques to make him an invaluable asset to the rescue mission. Soon enough, Oatchi becomes a force to be reckoned with, and spending enough time with the Pikmin seems to be reflected in the tip of his tail.

Oatchi appears in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a Spirit, represented in battle by Kirby.
