Apologies for the long absence. Things have been a bit busy since sometime in early to mid February. I'll post something to show you guys part of what's kept me so busy in the next day or two.

While working on these projects, though, I was able to finish another in my cultural butterfly series. This butterfly's design is based fairly heavily on designs commonly found in basket weaving among various tribal groups throughout the continent, though Zulu designs were the most frequent ones I could find. I also put in some designs based on zebras and cheetahs, since animal patterns and the animals themselves are frequently seen in African artwork.
