--Ver on Viridian Gym Leader Blue Oak

Out of the record breaking two suggestions on the Lance picture, I chose to draw Blue. Sorry Callum, but Chuck is just... CHUCK. I'll make it up to you with THIS amazing, sexy, Chuck silly.

In the R/B games I hated Blue with a passion. I hated his stupid, lame catchphrases, I hated the fact he always popped up when my Team was weak and tired and I hated his overpowered Alakazam.

In Gen II when I had another rival to face and Blue became a Gym Leader, I actually enjoyed the challenge that was beating his team. He became moderately cool and I liked how the creators didn't forget about his character and included a familiar face in the new games.

I still wish I could sock him in the face though.

FUN FACT! This is not Gary/Shigeru from that hopeless excuse of an anime. Let me get this straight: Ver hates the animated series. Ver likes the games. Ver draws characters from the games.

Just as it was with Lance, I don't know what I was thinking with the pose. It's like... Blue was prancing like a pretty fairy around his Gym when he saw a challenger. "HEY, I'M BLUE MOTHERFUCKING OAK AND I'M FABULOUS" He said and added, smirking "UNLIKE YOU, LOSAAAARRRRRRR."
