Mobile automatic sentry(turret) unit.Weapon: Double coil gun
The part that is equipped with guns, hovers on top of the main unit, using some sort of magnetic field. Energy for the guns is transmitted from the main body through wireless connection (or something like that^_^)
UPD: Done, changed the base of the unit as previous one was too big and boring

Thanks. It's mixed photo texture + painting.. just duplicated the colour layer and desaturated it into almost grey, then just carve out the 'worn/old/used' texture with some modified brush

Looks really cool, I like the idea of having a suspended turret. The only thing I'd change is the locomotion, instead of the feet, maybe try triangular tank tread sections, still behind the blast screens on the side. If this is a "drop and forget" type of sentry the tank treads would most likely be more reliable.
Awesome work though, the lines are very clean and it's a cool take on a sentry turret.

thanks - I'm actually replacing the base right now, as feet things and body as a whole look a bit boring at the moment (more sketching next time before jumping into detail ^_^)

I think the four reverse joint legs look good, but it seems like it might have balance issues. As soon as I see it my thoughts are divided between "Awesome robot!" and "Cow tipping!". Either way good work, I really like the textures.
