So, I've decided to draw some of the characters from Before Crisis, a nifty little FFVII spin-off game featuring the Turks that we'll NEVER see outside of Japan!
I've been working to improve my art style...hopefully it's starting to pay off. HOWEVER! There's a number of things wrong with this image (gun-guy, your gun should be bigger, and I just keep thinking that Reno should be flipping the bird, or throwing up the horns! Actually, his right arm as a whole needs a fix!). I really like how the women turned out (as for the one in the center, she's supposed to be that fighter chick, but I took it upon myself to give her some cleavage exposure. So there's cleavage for the men too in this picture!).
Also, should I or shouldn't I ink this? Thanks in advance, I

I have a question Did you manage to find refs for any of the BC characters? or just those little icons...cause. yeah, cosplaying someone from only a bust shot is -hard- especially when you cant see how the hair frames the face XD
anywho. Back to the art. This came out awesome ^_^ love it uberly

At the time I drew this, the only references I really had to work with was the group picture wallpaper as well as the bust shots from the profiles on the official site way back when. 
I should make a more updated version of this...
I also apologise terribly for the late reply. At the time, I was wrapping up preparations for a con, then I had a lot of work at my job on top of some family stuff...

lol no worries! IIII have talked with another girl who cosplays her ( [link] ) and we came to the same conclusions. Just the bust shots and wallpaper image available. I think Imma start going sketch crazy for frontal view concepts. It doesn't look too hard O.o course, I could be out of my mind too

If you have confidence that this will turn out well in inks, then go for it. I personally would love to see it in ink, but it looks beautiful enough in pencils.
Group piccy! 8D If you do end up fixing Reno's arm, I'd have him flip the bird, since it goes along so well with that lil' smirk of his, ^.^ Your style really works well with the Turk gang - better than the official Before Crisis art, at least!

Yes, ink! Your females always turn out fabulous, it makes me wonder why you don't draw them more often. I think somebody already pointed out Tseng's arm, the only other thing that threw me off a little in this picture was the handgun barrel, it seems twisted slightly. But an excellent job and I hope you ink and finish it up soon!

See, you've covered anything major I might have said... which leaves me to just gush about what I like! ^_^
I adore their faces. All of them. For some reason, I'm picking out individual facial features that I realy like... The eyes of the woman in the middles are lovely, as are lips of the other woman. The others all have these little details that make their faces interesting (Reno's nose!)

Ink it! CG it! It's awesome! I will give just one little bit of crit here, and that's with Tseng's phone arm. Just something about it seems a little off. I think the forearm looks a smidge awkward.

Quite the contrary, the crit is very appreciated! Tseng's arm is rather bothersome, so, with the aid of my super-poseable Spider-Man figure, am going to find ways to fix that arm. I rather like how he turned out, truth be told ^^
