In an attempt break the "monotony" of the Reno bombardment, here's a YGO sketch!
It's from the KAIBA DOT ALT series of doujinshi that I'm (painfully slowly) working on, a book called "School of Fight". Basically, Kaiba and Jounouchi fight. But it's entertaining! It will also contain other stories (including one for you Anzu Bashers--boy will I piss y'all off! 
) involving my favourite YGO characters at Domino High (did I mention that it's based on the Contrast universe?). SO yeah, this picture is of Kaiba and Jou facing each other. Kaiba's all "You're amusing when you're angry." And Jou's all "Yer still an assclown!" And Anzu (whom I like, so you Anzu bashers can SUCK IT), she's all "Here we go again..." (note the whistle around her neck), Honda's thinking "Jounouchi, would you stop picking fights with him, geez!" and Otogi? Otogi's wondering "And I'm here WHY?!".
There's gonna be improvements made, obviously, most noticeable to Otogi and Anzu; I don't think their expressions convey how they feel as strongly as they SHOULD. I leave it up to y'all to figure out what else could use some improvemnt.
...Seto's nose doesn't count, though. I purposely drew it that way because...well, I think he looks good with a nose like that. Plus, he's not really supposed to be as "pretty" as fandom makes him out to be, so I gotta give him an imperfection, right?

Your Otogi is ADORABLE . . . He's all like WHATEVER bitch.
And Honda looks strangely like David Boreanaz. Not that's a BAD thing, but its nifty. Very nifty. Like the imperfect scnoz on Kaiba.

I keep laughing every time I look at this. Something about their expressions is just so...so...*them*. And Anzu as refeeree? Bea-u-ti-ful. Truly. (An Anzu story? Oh, bless your wickedly amusing heart; how much are you thinking of charging and-um, will you hurt me if I ask about the finish date? ...yeah, thought so._

Anzu kicks ass - it's the dub that makes her out to be an annoying twit.
I have to say, Seto's nose looks prettyful the way you've drawn it here - and hell, it's nowhere near as bad as his and Bakura's chins were in episode 200. Those were lethal weapons right there! 
I do hope this piece is in the "to colour" pile - I think it would be mahvelous,

*squiggles* The background characters look flippin' awesome, expecially Honda. Great hair and expressions on everyone, I adore your interpretations of the characters.
Only a couple little things catch my notice as being off. The first one was Jou's upper lip. I know what you were going for, so it might just be me, but it looks a bit... split? I don't know. I have the same kind of wishy-washy feeling for Anzu's arms, but that IS a tough pose to draw and not have it looking a bit off. I think her arms may be a bit thin compared o the rest of her proportions.
Other than that, digging the layout and concept. Like many other, I can't wait to see this completed (if you do so) and it makes me want to see your interpretations of everyone (though I can understand why we haven't see a "Yugi" out of you... I can't imagine trying to make THAT hair realistic)!

Anyway, your crits, as always, are duly noted. I've went ahead and made corrections where you've pointed out (though I am still working on Anzu's arms...that pose IS tough!).
And you know, people keep talking about how hard it may be to do a realistic Yugi--I may just have to do it!

I think it's because you managed to redeem his hairstyle from that decidedly "pickaxe" look he has going in the canon. ^.~

I'm probably the only person who noticed how you did Honda's hair. XD Nice take on his little spikey style, I've always been wondering how you can plausibly get hair like that. You're wonderful with your realistic takes on such a stylized, er, style. X3
I also adore Otogi's expression, Anzu's whistle, and Kaiba's nose. Even for a sketch this is marvelous. *grin*

Anyway, great pic, as always. If you do end up coloring it, it'd be cool if you had little sparks flying between the two of them.

I love the hair curling on Otogi's part. And I really like the way you draw Anzu, you don't seem to feature her much but when you do I like the result. Honda's eyebrows seem a little low but I think it might just be me. I hope you'll post more from this series in the future, I love it.

Oh gawd, I remember when I was damn near obsessed with YGO...but that was over a year ago. Haven't kept up with anything at all, lately.
I -love- how you draw Kaiba...I never commented on any of your other arts, but I do love them! I think I wanna fave one...yeah, I'll go do that.
Is this drawn on a normal size piece of computer paper? If it is...I envy the fact you can draw people so small. I just...can't.

Oh, I'm definitely not as big into YGO myself as I used to be, but there are times when I'll do a little something. ^^ Or a big little something
As for the paper--yup, it's computer paper. For small-scale stuff, I use a .5 mechanical pencil...if you use it just in the right way, it's really easy.

I love how you make their hair more realistic looking and still resemble the original - that's pretty nifty. Ahh!! Anzu is in it! She doens't get much love. *shakes head* Lovely work - profiles and the layout. ^_^ yay for the three onlookers!
