Last I heard, the weather portion of this Rainmeter skin is no longer supported. Those codes more than likely won't work anymore.

Well then I hope it gets updated for the new weather codes, or does anyone know how to make it work with the new codes? Also is it possible to change the clock to 12hr mode?

I'm not sure at the moment. I've yet to find any working codes for the weather part, and I don't know how to change the clock to 12 hour time. I've asked around a few times before but never got any answers.

It's pretty cool, but the icons looks all screwed up, and the bars are not long enough to join the upper side and lower side of the screen...

you can edit the size of the sidebars in it by clicking the edit button when you have the sidebar selected in rainmeter management window. It's actually very simple, it has instructions in the edit file itself with examples to help make it easier as well.

How to Install and Setup layout:
1.) Download zip file
2.) Unzip file (i like to unzip to desktop to easily find it)
3.) Copy unzipped file
4.) past into rainmeter folder at C:\Users\your user name \Documents\Rainmeter\Skins
Setup Layout:
1.) Run rainmeter
2.) Open rainmeter manager (can right click on its icon in the task bar) (or right click on the layout you have going now and click manage skin)
3.) In the Skins tab unload the .ini files in each folder of your old skin
4.) Still in the Skins tab go into the dark_glass folder and open each folder and upload each .ini file
5.) Move the skins that show up around. For the Left folder you will just have to move them down. For the Right folder you will have to move them to the right side of the screen and down
6.) Extend/shrink left and right bar.
- This is done by in the Skins tab->Left folder->bar-L folder-> now just click once on left_sidebar.ini file and click the Edit button to the right.
- Now it will open a Notepad document, all you have to do is where it says "H=1024" you change that to your screen resolution (mine is 1080)
- Now Just do File and save in the Notepad document and close it
- Do the same to Skins tab->Right folder->bar-R folder
7.) Save the layout in the Layout tab in the Manage Rainmeter
- Type the name you want to save the layout as in the Name: box then click save
Can switch between layouts by right clicking the Rainmeter icon in the task bar and going to layouts then just click the name of the layout you want

For further Setup you have to do multiple things (each computer will be different)
Some of these are personal preferences also
One thing I like to do is make the left and right bars unclickable
-to do this In the Manage Rainmeter open the bar_L and bar_R folders -> Click once on the .ini file -> then on the bottom right check the box Click Through
Can also make it so non of the skin is movable
-to do this in Manage Rainmeter just click on each .ini file and uncheck the box for Draggable
For the buttons to work some you will have to click the .ini file for then click Edit. This might be different for each person depending on where their programs are saved.
for the Email to work click the email.ini file then click Edit
- Now in the Notepad file that opens you will have to put in YOUR username and password into
GmailUsername=#YOUR USER NAME#
GmailPassword=#YOUR PASSWORD#
They are found at the top of the document under Variables
For programs like Photoshop or the media player you will have to Edit the application.ini file under the Left folder -> app folder
*not everyone might have to do this*
*just try each button to see if they work first*
- You will now have to find the section the programs are in
- PS is photoshop and PLAY is the music player
- You will have to then go into the program files on your computer and find the .exe of these programs, then you copy the directory and paste it into the section for the " LeftMouseDownAction=!execute "
- Now File -> Save the notepad document

What about the audio player, how do I get songs to play from it? It seems like it doesn't know what folder to look in or something >.>

sometimes the audio player you link to it is in a different programs folder in you hard drive than what it originally reads it as [e.g. Program files (x86)] To get it to play them just edit the folder path properly.

Another personal preference I like to do is make all the buttons work on clickUp instead of clickDown. This just makes is so accidental clicks can be more avoided.
To do this just change:
LeftMouseDownAction=!execute
to
LeftMouseUpAction=!execute

I've installed all of it. How to use it using rainmeter? I've open the rainmeter file and skins but I cant find the darkglass. I've also refreshed my pc a lot of times. Thanks for the coming reply
