I think your rendition of Isengard is more compelling (and mathematically complete) than the movie. Β It's strange that 3D fractals so clearly reproduce things I would think of as human architecture. Β City at Dusk is another great example of this architecture parallel. Β youtu.be/TP_2Zxr3CQM

I love this image it is absolutely exquisite, but if I might offer one critique: The clouds appear to be lit from the right, opposite of the structures which are lit from the left. Otherwise this image is one of the most realistic that I have seen to date and I have been through thousands.

Lol yes, actually when choosing the sky from my photos I searched for the light direction too. It was from left.
Then there was something wrong in the resulting composition, and it was the color distribution between sky and structures. I flipped it horizontally and wow, it was so better that I let the realism go to favor the overall feeling
Anyway all my fractals are still there, for further work, I agree this could be used to make realistic editings

You're welcome, I completely agree on favoring realism over feel for the image if it doesn't look right you have to do what works. I have literally dozens of skies for ever mood and method.
