I think for some sauropodlets, we have scale impressions but very good speculative quill feathers!

We'll probably never know for sure, but I can buy the fuzz. Over the last month or so I've watched some local feral goose chicks turning into adult birds, and it's not too hard to imagine young birds and dinosaurs looking more like one another than adult birds and dinosaurs, as is the case with higher primates.
