follow up to A Ranger's duty. you can see her running off in the last panel this is where she's headed. fun little continuity Duveya is the reason Kella had the bandana taped to her shell not Michael and she was carrying with her during the convention and when they got out of costume and took off to their mission.

if there was dialogue between the two it would go like Duveya"you were amazing there" Kella "yeah I know I kicked and saved ass out there" ((Kella is just as fowl mouthed as her long running partner michael maybe even more so)) Duveya "hey you can finally were your bandana with out me needing to tape it you" Kella "yeah I am still a lot bigger than you and can squish you for trying to challenge" Duveya "oh get off you silly jerk and let me help" Duveya accidentally used thunder punched and evolved from knocking out Kella! "woops" later Kella "that was an amazing punch, and I um think I'm falling for you and it's not the damn concussion you gave me" Duveya "heh you know what I think I'm in love with you too ya big goofy jerk"

The idea to make them a couple was inspired by many thing one my brain thinking because they spend so much time in close proxcimity to each other wouldn't it be cute if they ended up falling in love, other influences are the fact I find the relationship between Alphys and Undyne insanely cute with Kella being pretty close to Undyne if she was a little lazy and Duveya being alphys only with more self confidence. the other big influence was a pairing my friend made with his characters Agee and Smithee a talonflame and noivern who I actually have a slight hand in the creation of. check out his work sometime he makes some very fun comics and stories.
