A speed painting I did a while back from some photos I'd taken near Banff. The Paint Pots are a nice hike out.Related content

Hmm... sort of but not quite. It's an area that has natural underground springs that bubble up to form small pools of water. The pools are more like little lakes than a swamp. They've got little sandy shorelines and there's walkways between them... and I don't think the plants like the minerals in the pools very much, so they're not overgrown.
I'm sure there's lots of swamps around there somewhere, though. Probably closer to the river.
