Animecon - Finncon '08, my first con, is now over. This is my cosplay of Midna from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I took part in the cosplay contest, and won the awards for the best first timer and the second place in the whole contest.
I was so happy to see that people liked my costume that I spent a whole year making... All the effort and time put in this was worth it. X) I'm also proud for this is the first costume I've ever made ALL by myself. XD It was really, really hot to wear, though... I'm glad I'm still alive. Thanks! I used Grimas face paint with base powder. It can be removed with water. It's not the best stuff but I couldn't find anything better in this country. XD

Looks pretty good in this pic o: My friend and I made an imp midna costume for her sister and we've been having a bitch of a time trying to find white makeup that will actually evenly cover the skin rather than tint it.

I cut it from the fabric and sewed... That's pretty much it. XD You just have to find a good shape for it, and not make it too big.
