.A spider's abandoned skyrise.This photo was taken on the same evening as 'Broken Calm' . In hindsite (of course) I think I should have used a touch wider aperature to get the whole plant in focus, but I am not completely bothered by the lower portion being out of focus either...

I think that, wider aperture would get even less of the plant in focus. Narrower might be the solution, but I think that the aperture is perfect. It is crystal clear in the center; you can even see the spider web on the plant. On the other hand if you had used higher aperture number the background would have came out too strong.

Yeah, I agree with you on the aperature, although it kind of draws the eye to the top of the plant (in my opinion) so maybe it's not a bad thing 
(I have some more comments for you, but I'm in Portland right now and don't have much time. I'll write them when I get back to school tomorrow... probably.)

This would be just another sunset over a lake (not that that's bad...) but with just a little disturbance it sets it apart. The title is very clever too. Cute and elegant and beautiful all at the same time. Nice work!
