Description I was experimenting with a new kind of coloring in this. I lay down a base color of a very dark reddish-gray, and then build up from there. It's not as neat as other methods, though it is easier.

I use photoshop and a wacom tablet. I've never tried any other software. (besides paint, in the very early years)

Your drawings always seem to have a lot of impact and can be very evocative. Kudos!

I love the color contrast, and the background sky seems to reflect the conflicts that make be burning and brewing in the subject's soul.

Very well done.

Your background is quite atmospheric, giving the impression of a war-torn horizon or sundown over a ruined Earth. A hazy sky, roiling clouds, and broken land...

Who is this lone wanderer?

(The muted tones fit quite well with the rest of the scene, and the detail on her outfit is amazing!)

Thanks! The woman is a character I came up with a while ago, and thought I'd doodle in my sketchbook. I ended up liking it, and painted this.
