Description
It's been a while as I am working on several pieces at once. But this is one I have been working on since christmas.This is prismacolor pencils on watercolour, A4.

Utterance is a sublime work that fully engages the mind and spiritual center. With brilliant color, beautiful balance and a fantastic use of technique, the artist really pulls off a piece that is wonderfully intriguing.
The composition as a whole has a surrealist derivative that is wholeheartedly fascinating, the piece simply screams "double-meaning." Whatever the case, the work is solid and does not fail to ensnare the onlooker.
Technically the work is sound. The artist uses a gentle balance between the upper and lower colors while showcasing the centerfold cold hues. The female character is well done, and the accents of warmer shades about her really make her a stand alone in this work. Most of all, the use of pastels over harsher more concentrated pigments really keeps the piece light and clear.
I retrospect, the flowers are a lovely addition, but they suffer from a lack of value that results in flatness. In such a case, greater definition and deeper shading to accurately enhance individual petals would be needed to embolden this look.
Overall, the work is a stunning array of shape and pastel shades. It's simply wonderful.

I thought is was a tattoo! The color combination of peach/pink and blue compliments each other. I like how the colors are dripping.
