The project was so old that it's a miracle I submit something finally. The faces didn't have the same resolution, were blurred, etc - a nightmare again.And, of course, the pic was supposed to illustrate that bright quote by Sirius in OoP :
'The world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters'.
Because, you know, I really like how Sirius says very clever and subtle things, sometimes . He has such a talent at putting his own theories into practice, especially when he speaks about his young brother and his old classmate.
The one on the right side was supposed to look like the model Isaiah Garnica. But don't let me alone with my tablet, when I'm in a bad mood.

Difficult pic, this one. They're not easy to draw. I'm unhappy with Snape but Regulus turned out to be quite in character from my point of view, finally. I'm glad you like it. Thank you.

I love Regulus here. He was an easy one. I mean, I haven't had difficulties with him and I think he's pretty Regulus for me. Severus, on the other hand... I'm not satisfied with him. I like the quite innocent look he has, the way he is still a child in this body, but he is not immediately recognizable as Severus to me, and it's a new frustration!

I like your Regulus too, he's quite close to what I imagined. I wish we knew more about him.
What is it about Severus that you don't find recognisable? Just the personal feeling you get from the picture, compared to the one in your head? Well, I know what it is to be harsh one oneself

somehow to me he looks little bit younger than 7th year here...maybe 6th..not that theres much difference...thought boys that age change a lot...yup...*remembers*

For me boys at 15 /16 look younger than in the pic, but I wanted them to be young.

Very nice Bea. I would make Sirius a bit taller than Snape, he looks a bit small, maybe it`s the perspective...in POA it is mentioned he was taller (He must be SUPER TALL because to me Snape is a tall guy!) *lol*

And btw, are they "dead"? Snape has blood in his neck??? And Regulus looks so pale??? Or maybe some artistic touch? It is meaningfull if so... very!!!

Well, I should write it's Reg. You're the 4th people who is mistaken. Well, it means that the two brothers have something in common, so, that's good in a sense.
This pic was such a desaster...I started with the wrong brushes, Sev was all blurred, when Reg was made in hard brushes. That was the first problem. The second one was that I had in mind to suggest how they will die. They were young, ambitious, bright with a promising future. And they had no life. But then in the process, Regulus's face became very morbid (and too green), and Snape was all bleeding...Then I stopped it and undid the dark effect as I could do. But some of it remains. I could repaint over, but, well, I think that finally I will stop here
So, they are not dead, but they are ready to live their life - Sev in sorrow and bitterness, Reg in the disgust of all in what he believed, with those horrible deaths they had ahead of them.

Я тоже было сначала подумала, что справа - Сириус, потом удивилась, что они вместе и что он ниже Северуса, потом поняла, что это Рег. Но в нем действительно есть что-то общее с тем, как ты рисуешь Сириуса.
А у Северуса подбит правый глаз?

Poor Severus, daje ne predstavljaesh, chto bylo do etogo. Tak je s Regulusom. Ja hotela pokazyvat', kak oni budut umerat'... tak, chto kartina byla sovsem strashna, mrachna i nezdorova. Tolko, litso u Regulusa stalo byt' slishkom zelenym, i ja peredumala. A u Severusa byl takoi vid, da, pravda, kak budto sovsem podbityi. No togda ja poshla nazad, no podumala, chto glaz u nego takoi ostanetsia. Pust budet - to potomu, chto ego kto-to udaril, ili potomu, chto on nezdorovyi i nezchastnyi.

They both look so lonely ((( Regulus also looks diffident and shy, but Snape is determined and knows for sure what he wants. Brilliant work, really, really like it.

yes, quite an old WIP actually. It's very hard to rework on something old, because the way you paint has changed, and you don't remember how you started the pic first...
but well, finally I submitted it !!! *relieved*
