Diadem the lion-taur. A long-ago story I wrote when I was a lot younger featured him, and drawing a squirrel-taur for ~Razzek brought his memory back to me.This is a painting for all those childhood dreams that we too often forget. Watercolours and Indian ink.

I was browsing lion pictures and ran across this. This strikes be because of the nice linework but mostly because of the concept. most taurs I see are simply an anthro form crossed with a non anthro form of the same species. I like the fact that you went a more original route here and actually followed the roots of a traditional centaur, crossing that with an anthro lion. that concept stands out and I must say, it's such a simple one, i'm rather surprised no one thought of it before LOL. Very cool mate, and btw, his gaze sells the pic. It locks you in and speaks toward a magestic nature, so yea, i'm sold. this is a fave XD

I love it! I love the flowyness of his great hair, his body (both lion and taur). Awesome colours, too. Simply dazzling- like a diamond dipped in moonlight sorta effect. Just simply beautiful.
You know- I had a dream about a centaur once- scary thing was it was Haldir. Of all people!!?

ok! another one that ive never seen b4... not to mention the [what the heck is it s'ppose 2 be thing....]
well in any case the collar bone looks great now...... great job!..... now for the chest area..... youve placed two lines there.... which make it look like the chest is very very very well built.... but the proportions of the rest of the body (eg. the arms) doesnt allow coherence..... so may i suggest you place just one line to separate both breasts.... ^^"....... ok that was a mouth full so im going to shut up now.......

- you'll probably hate me .... but the hand holding the "wand" looks deformed..... though i usually see that you draw perfect hands in the past......

Oh, you ARE kidding!! My skill with hands runs to...well...nil!! I'm not even surprised that his hand looks deformed! (I just tend to upload anyway and wait for people to laugh and point... : )
