Thanks! Yeah, I kinda wish more people would draw some of the minor characters. Like, I can't believe there isn't a single piece of Reginald art up on dA! At least that I've seen. Honestly, I can't believe I've never drawn him. And it really is! But there are just so many "best things" about the show!

Personally I've always found him very difficult to draw, though. I mean, much more so than the other characters.

Thanks. Exposition Guy is actually the character that I'm least pleased with. I've decided that he's even harder to draw than Scoops and Violet, which is really saying something coming from me.

Go figure it wouldn't be obvious. I mean, it's supposed to be the kind of frown where their lips are kind of pursed in the freaked out sort of way, so the frown is slightly less obvious, I guess? I can't explain it right, but I know what I'm picturing. There are several main types of expressions I've seen the show make with those kinds of mouths, and I knew which one I was going for, but I guess I messed up. I actually had to draw her differently from the reference because I realized that she's not a "fat" character, but she's so top heavy. I mean, her legs are tiny, and then her torso was GINORMOUS. I was actually surprised that Soup2Nuts got away with having a character with boobs that huge on a kids' show. XP

Oh my goodness, I didn't even realize how similar they looked until now! A Futurama crossover actually would be pretty interesting. Tobey could be Fry with his robut friend, and Becky and Bob could be Leela and nibbler. Especially since nibbler can fly a space ship and is from outer space. But the others would get harder to figure out.

Uhmmmmm... that'd be Tobey also. And this is random, but I think Tom Kenny voices Fry's brother. And some other random characters on the show. Lemme think... It would probably have to be someone who Tobey is slightly friends with to make sense, but Tobey doesn't really have friends.

Thanks. I think I'm just mad because they don't look as accurate to the reference as most of my other art does. But most of my other art is Two Brains, and it makes sense that I'd be better at drawing him.

Mrs. MacCallister was actually the easiest/most fun to draw of all of these. Her expression was pretty simple, but the others were being difficult for some reason. ^^: But thanks again~.

Practice just takes so much time though. But thanks! They take a REALLY long time, though. I mean, since it's cartoony, they may look like they take a half an hour, especially since I don't add a whole lot of detail, but I'm pretty sure it took me over and hour to draw each of these characters. And I know it took me like THREE OR FOUR HOURS to draw Mr. and Mrs. Exposition up there.

I mean, I can see that. They have surprisingly not given her a whole lot of character development or even dialogue. I mean, remember when we were talking about it not making sense to not give someone dialogue when the voice actor is already there? That's what really confuses me about Claire MacCallister. She almost NEVER speaks, but she could be in ANY single episode of the show they want.

I completely understand! You're talking to someone who takes over an hour just to draw Tobey. And that's a character I draw a lot.

That's true. I really didn't think of that but you're totally right. O_O I think the reason why I didn't like her at first is because whenever she'd punish Tobey she'd just send him too his room. I mean, in one sense I like that she doesn't let him get away with things... but I never understood why she would stick him in his room as punishment just so he could build more robots. But I don't know.

Yeah, it's weird because sometimes I actually will draw Two Brains in like 20 minutes and then other times I'll send over an hour on him and still think it looks like garbage.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I honestly don't even think it did any good because he STILL gets away with things. And why does she even LET him build robots in his room? Why does she let him get all the supplies to build them in the first place?! It doesn't really make any sense.

It's where you only look at the subject and not at what you're actually drawing on the paper. It teachers you how to draw what you see rather than from memory or what you think you see. Hopefully I explained that right.

Oh my gosh, I just realized that Tobey was hiding in a tree in "Field Day Fun With Robo-Tobey"!!!!!
That... was just really awesome for my brain just now. WOW. I'm happy. How did Tobey even manage to climb a tree without hurting himself and having a tantrum? I honestly feel like it must've been more trouble to quickly build and program a robot and climb a tree and try to keep and eye on it and control it the whole time than it would've just been to participate in field day... Nevermind, I'm just analyzing everything right now.

It's actually not as stressful as it seems. I actually found it more stressful when I kept looking at the page. I was drawing a bottle and it ran off the page so I had to start on the other side. You could totally see the difference... The side I was paying attention more to the subject turned out a lot better than the one where I was constantly looking at the page. O_o

Yes, that's a little strange.
Yes. Tobey's so silly. But really I think that's the point of his character. He makes everything a lot more complicated than it has to be. Like he complains that certain things are too much work yet he does far more work to avoid doing the simple task.

True! I just think it's funny because he calls himself a genius, but the show portrays him like he's not actually very clever, yet when you think about it... it probably actually takes some pretty intense mathematical knowledge to program ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE so they can function properly. I wish they'd give him more credit sometimes. And I noticed that The Narrator, especially, is always being rude to Tobey.

Oh yeah! That actually seems really accurate because a lot of famous geniuses have absolutely NO common sense. And my mom says that smart people don't have common sense, and she says that's why I'm low on common sense. And I now this guy who must have a ridiculously high IQ but he always says and does the most STUPID things imaginable.

I'm the type of person who, if I'm not paying enough attention, I'll be able to throw a fork in the trashcan and put a napkin in the sink.
