Description
This photo was taken on June 14th, 2007. This is the time of year I love the most. I have a Red-winged Blackbird nest in my backyard and if you get try to walk from one end of the yard to the other it's the job the birds to scold you and hover above.. so why not get some shots of this. I do feed them plenty of birdseed, being a bird lover. This was the female and I chose to take the color out to almost give it a symbolic feel with the wingspan. I also decided to keep in some of the high trees for background effect.
