This photo was taken on October 11th 2003. I was on my way home late one night after dropping a friend off. I had noticed the fog was just starting to come in, but it was here at this school playground where it just seem to be the thickest, and I got some great shots, including this, where the street light shines through the swingset.Related content

Thank you very much!! I couldn't have gotten luckier with just being in the right place at the right time. I also took a shot with me on one of the swings, but couldn't find myself to enjoy it as much. There's someting to be said about the swingset being dark, gloomy and desolate.

the thumbnail looks great but when you see the full version, its vaguely grainy and there are some surface artefacts that are annoying. i think you should clean this up in photoshop [ or whichever program you use ] and repost in a resolution small enough to view online - so that people can view it as 'art' easily. if you really want to maintain quality for anyone who choses to download it, why not upload the full-size image as a scrap and link it to the normally viewable image.

I was going to just resize it, but will give it a look-see in Photoshop. Meanwhile, keep checking in with VonawesComplete for the finished and resized version along with all the others. It's still under construction due to no home connection.

Great photo but why don't you make it smaller, kind of, 1024x768 or even 800x600 72 dpi and save for the web.
It was faster to load them and easier to watch.

I know, I know. I'm just a stickler on quality. I don't want to jip those who want the best possible photo quality, the way I took them. I am going to probably post them onto Yahoo Photos with a link so those who don't want the load time can view smaller sized ones. Thank you always for your comments and I'll work on somthing.

Wow, I love this picture. It reminds me of last summer when I was living in the high desert, across the street from the house I was living in was a middle school, I used to sit on the swings at night and the whole scene of the playground was pretty awesome, but I had no idea it could be captured on camera with so much detail and accuracy.
