It's an interesting debate Jacqueline. I work on the assumption that, as our teeth are structured to masticate all types of food, we are essentially omnivorous, thus meat would comprise a part of our diet. At the end of the day though, we do have choice!!

The traditional and stereotyped poses in Egyptian tomb paintings often impart a rigidity approaching lifelessness. You have modified the pose in a most subtle way and overcome this. She looks as if I could talk to her. I admire this picture a lot. Thank you for sharing.

In a house I used to live in I painted a whole interior wall with an Egyptian theme. You have probably seen a tomb painting of man on a reed boat about to throw a boomerang at a flight of birds while his wife dutifully (perhaps politically incorrectly even) holds his ankles to keep him steady.
Eventually I sold the house but felt obliged to wallpaper over it as I felt that a prospective buyer was unlikely to appreciate my odd tastes. I sometimes daydream that the new owners will want one day to redecorate and as they strip off the wallpaper they'll wonder what on earth they are uncovering.
