Hmmmmm... May I ask what are the virtues of theistic satanism, if it's not devil worship and evil based.

I suppose it varies from person to person, but... by virtue you mean moral code?
-Use your common sense; ie don't be stupid.
-Don't harm anybody if they haven't harmed you; ie don't hurt innocents.
-Control yourself, balance yourself.
-Diligence, perseverance.
-"Question everything."
I myself try to be nice/positive as possible. That's always a good thing.

Hmmmm... interesting. May I ask how the inverted cross is related to these virtues?

Not sure about relating to the virtues, really...
The inverted cross represents the shape of the human soul with the focus on the solar chakra; the solar chakra is the most powerful chakra.

Chakras... the energy centers that are inside of the human body.
There are 13 main chakras, with 7 of those being at the center of the body, arranged.
gblt.webs.com/Chakras666.htm This page has a bit more info on it.

and what about the inverted pentagram? What's that all about?

Vovina-de-Micaloz In reply to joeisbadass [2013-09-29 14:18:34 +0000 UTC]
It represents the 5 elements of the soul... as demonstrated by the very wallpaper you're commenting on.

But the pentagram represents them facing right side up, so why would you need to have an inverted version to represent that?
π: 0 β©: 1
Vovina-de-Micaloz In reply to joeisbadass [2013-09-29 16:39:04 +0000 UTC]
The pentacle that faces up puts the heavier elements on top; the heavier elements smother the lighter ones, and completely ruin the balance of the soul.
In addition, the Akasha/Ether points upwards... leaving the body, instead of being replenished and renewed.
For the record... the point-down pentagram is OLDER than the one that is pointed up.

joeisbadass In reply to Vovina-de-Micaloz [2013-09-29 17:34:24 +0000 UTC]
And which older culture used this point down pentagram? And for that matter, which older culture used the upside down cross and which older culture actually used the term "Satan" to refer to their god (s). Where did the term originate if not Christianity, and what does it mean if not "The Opposer."
Also, if you were trying to demonstrate chakras with the inverted cross symbol, why choose that symbol of any. I mean, you have a million and one symbols to choose from but you had to choose the one that screams "Hello. I worship the Antichrist. Please come to my house with torches and pitchforks." Knowing how the Christians would react and how intolerant they can be you guys basically gave them every reason to be intolerant, instead of using something that doesn't shout devil worship/anti-christian.
One more thing. You said Satan has spoken to you. What if he told you to murder someone in cold blood. Would you listen?

The Sumerians, and other cultures around that time.
www.angelfire.com/empire/serpeβ¦
Satan originates from SaTaNaMa in Sanskrit, which the entire phrase means something like "divine truth" (this was actually confirmed to me by somebody who spoke the language.)
I'm sorry, but... the christians took OUR symbol and flipped it upside-down. Not the other way around.
I'd rather be asking them why they took a Satanic symbol, and fucked it up.
The symbol is important to us. Who cares if the non-Satanists think it's somehow "evil"? That's THEIR problem.
We haven't given them any reason to be intolerant. They are intolerant on their own time for their own reasons.
Also for the record, yes there is an "antichrist" (one major opposite is that the antichrist exists while 'christ' never existed.) He's one of the few humans to reach magnum opus (godhood). Most people think he's dead.
What the fuck?! No. Even if he, for some fucked up reason, EVER said that to me... I would tell him to go fuck himself.

Then how do you explain Jesus dying on the cross, which has, for 2,000 years, been the precise reason why the crucifix was used as a symbol? And you said the number 666 is a benevolent number? How? What does that number mean to you satanists?
So who is the "antichrist" and what does he stand for, if he's the exact opposite of Jesus (who's existence is well accepted by most historians), considering the man taught nothing but to help the poor and the sick and be selfless and spiritual and to turn the other cheek. If you say the "antichrist" is the opposite of this "christ," would that not suggest that this "antichrist" believes in theft and intolerance and lack of compassion and greed and senseless wrath? And he's achieved "godhood" in the satanic eyes?
Oh ok then. Just making sure.

It's a stolen metaphor for godhood; just as Odin was hung from the tree, and many other Pagan gods before him.
Hell, the entire christian character is a stolen metaphor for godhood, much like other parts of the book
The enemy wants humans to think that they can't achieve that level of power; that only "god" can. We need people to believe in the potential power in themselves, and not become entrapped by storybook characters.
Also, the cross wasn't actually added to the christian until the past 200 or so years. it's not an old symbol.
The number 666 stands either for the sun, or Enki/Satan. In the Runic square working of the sun, the mantra of the sun is vibrated 666 times over 66 days.
666 represents the astrological age of Aquarius, the "Golden Age", Β the age of awakening, etc... (Aquarius is one of Enki/Satan's ruling signs. The other is Capricorn.)
Currently we are in a transition period between Pisces and Aquarius.
First off, I have never read a NON-christian historian show any sort of evidence that he has existed. All sources I have been linked are from christian sites with no proof behind them.
Second, even if was real... he's not the "good guy" you paint him out to be;
"Matthew 10: 34-36
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father and the daughter against her mother and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household."
Furthermore, he:
Damns cities just because they don't care for his teachings. (Matthew 11:21-24)
Criticizes a man for not killing their own children... for no good reason. (Matthew 15:4)
Killed a tree out of his own "senseless wrath". (Mark 11:12-14, 20-22 )
advocated that somebody rip their own eyeballs out and cut their hands off if they "offend them." If not, they'll be tortured. (Matthew 18:8-9)
Helping the poor, eh? He stole; took things without permission. Hypocrite. (Luke 6: 1-5 , Luke 19: 29-3)
He also lied (Matthew 16: 28)
see_the_truth.webs.com/sinningβ¦
I could go on all day, but I'm sure you get the picture.
Being entirely selfless in itself is unhealthy. If you do not care for yourself, your own health is at stake; I've learned that the hard way.
He did NOT teach ANYTHING spiritual. If he had, he and his followers would not have died in their silly little story. If christians were actually spiritual as they claim, they would have all reached godhood by now; instead, they suffer from ailments with no hope of a cure unless they can afford it. The worst ailment of all is aging.
Turning the other cheek... also an unhealthy ideal. This passive "don't give a fuck" attitude is why the world is in shambles, currently.
Instead of humanity ruling over itself, we have the creators of the worlds' religions ruling over us.
The antichrist is a wise and kind man; one who knows that god is in ourselves... and not some random place that doesn't even exist.Β
He is not somebody who believes in any of the ideals you listed.

I dare you to read the gospels yourself, and then come back to me and say the story of Jesus is a "silly Christian fairytale."
I also bet you won't find any of those quotes in the actual bible. That "Seeing the truth" website I'm sure just made all that shit up especially that it has no sources to back it up.
My Uncle Paulie is a spiritual Roman-Catholic and he's in Africa right now helping the poor and the sick, giving them medicines, all that jazz, what HIS Jesus told him, what the Buddha taught, what Lao Tzu taught, what the pagan leaders teach, what pretty much every religion has taught, except of course, for satanism.
I never heard any of your claims to hold true at all. This just seems like a mass conspiracy theory, from a guy who has studied religions and spiritualities for years, satanism being included.

I don't need to re-read those damn books again.
I was a christian for 16 or so years, and left when I realized that there is entirely NO evidence for the religion.
Wow, "no sources".
Seriously.
It lists the sources multiple times, aka the bible. How about you go pick up the book and read it, instead of trying to claim "no sources"?
Here's a non-Satanist source on it as well: skepticsannotatedbible.com/cruβ¦
And another detailing murder and violence in the bible: pastebin.com/PXTDcGav
Oh?
Is he teaching them about his religion as well, or is he only there SOLELY to help out the poor and the sick and keeps his beliefs to himself?
Would he even be there if he was an Atheist?
Helping out is good and all, but teaching them that religion will only make the situation worse.
For the record, my roommate has a degree in mythology/religious studies, and a PHD in physics... he's a Spiritual Satanist.
He found the truth himself rather than having segments of information shoved down his throat; no school is going to teach about ACTUAL Satanism, because nobody who is in power wants humanity to have any power.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPJPK1β¦ <- You might want to watch this.
If you still think it seems like a "conspiracy", I don't know what to tell you.
I cannot show somebody the path who refuses to take off their blindfold.

When I say "evidence," I don't mean evidence that their religion is true. I mean I would look at a history article or read a book about mesopotamia and these deities and I wouldn't find shit about Satan. History does not recognize Satan as a pre-christian deity. That's my only point. That's why I say its a conspiracy theory.
Yes I know that there is a bunch of violence in the OLD TESTAMENT of the bible, but Christianity is founded upon Jesus' teachings, and he taught nothing but peace and love and selflessness. He is literally one of the best rolemodels of spirituality in the history of time. And I'm an agnostic. The guy never said "Worship me or die." That is the last thing Jesus would ever say. As a matter of fact, two of his quotes endorsed religious tolerance: "If you don't believe in me believe in the things I do" and "There are many rooms in my father's house." Here www.brainyquote.com/quotes/keyβ¦
He basically taught people how to become better, more spiritual people, and he told his apostles to do just the same, and his teachings also did involve faith in God and in him, but he never forced anyone to convert, and you wanna know something else? The Romans put Jesus through the worst torture imaginable. They whipped and humiliated him for days. They drove nails through his hands and feet and gagged him with a sponge covered in vinegar. After all that, you know what Jesus' last words were? FATHER FORGIVE THEM FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
And you have the nerve to say this is all some fairytale.
Really? What's your roomates name and what has he learned?

You're completely IGNORANT, and from what I've read you have terrible reading comprehension.
Goodfuckingbye.

In layman's terms...does the Akasha refer to the spiritual force within?
In any case the elements are beautiful. I've always been fascinated by them...

Yes. These are the 5 elements of the soul, the 5th being Akasha/Spirit/Either/Quintessence/Spirit whatever you want to call it.
There's a link around on one of my other comments describing it a little.
