The arms are rather lanky in general. And the hands need to be remodeled because the joints at the wrist are very awkward. (Perhaps I should have stuck with the Pohatu styled arms after all? These "tubed" arms don't work very well with those hands.)

I'd try to correct these... but my PC is currently undergoing repairs, and I don't know if the file will make it through.

B'aw... if it's a hard drive issue, they may be able to recover the data no prob. I wouldn't worry too much. If file goes dead, just start over. Doesn't have to be completely from scratch, at least second time you know what needs fixing. That, plus reference pic on DA to go by!

I believe there may be some recovery files from earlier. It's really a matter of whether they can even get my machine to work again.

So far, one repairman has already given up on it. Not the news I wanted to hear.

It got knocked around a fair bit when I tried to clean the rear fan, which has been buzzing lately like crazy.

Yet it worked fine for hours afterwards, before it unceremoniously froze and stopped working.


I... am not in a good relationship with it. We gave each other mutual emotional abuse.

*Facepalm* Worst I ever did to my poor laptop compy was put too much pressure over where the disk drive was. That, and dropping it. Twice. First time I had to get hard drive replaced. Second time, entire compy 'cuz let's face it, it was my mom's hand-me-down.

But - Apple brand. Great customer support for your money. I dunno' what system you yourself run on, but when a repair man gives up on it, that's never an acceptable option. Don't go to him ever again.

I think calling him a "repairman" was a misleading choice of words. He's more like a guy who does some computer fixing in his free time.

It's been taken to a real computer shop since then. The same shop that resurrected it a year ago.
